How to Give

Alumni and friends of Kent State Athletics make a variety of gifts in support of the Golden Flashes. Your gift will directly affect a Kent State student-athlete and their pursuit In Class In Competition and In Life.


If you would like to make a contribution to Kent State Athletics, you may choose from a variety of ways that work best for you...

  • A pledge that spreads your commitment amount over a specific number of years
  • Contributing appreciated securities
  • Various planned giving options included in your will
  • Making an honorary or memorial gift

KSU Employee Payroll Deductions

Kent State employees can give back to the university conveniently and easily through payroll deduction fit to their individual preferences. Matching Gifts

In many instances, gifts to The Golden Flashes Club may qualify for matching gifts from employers. If your company participates in a matching gift program, you will receive credit toward the total contribution. For more information and to obtain the appropriate paperwork, contact your company's personnel office. Please check with your employer and enclose your company’s matching gift form with your contribution, or visit www.matchingifts.com/KentState to see if your employer extends this benefit to their employees.

Gifts in Kind

Donations made of gifts or services also qualify as gift credit. This type of donation generally consists of items that would normally be purchased by our athletic department. Credit is based on the fair market value.
