Excellence

Special Projects

Private gifts can play a major role in acquiring key resources necessary for team and individual success. Special initiatives at Kent State are created to assist in capital project enhancements, scholarship endowments, as well as miscellaneous campaigns that benefit our varsity sports. In all cases, gifts made in support of special projects are contributions to The Golden Flashes Club.

If you are interested in contributing toward one of the projects below please contact us at the Office of Athletic Advancement at (330) 672-2078 or e-mail The Golden Flashes Club.

"My Kent State student-athlete experience has made me grow stronger as a person and will prepare me for my future career. How hard we work in practice and in the classroom is the skill you need for the real world. I had to learn how to manage my time and be a responsible student-athlete-citizen. Being late to practice and team meetings in not tolerated with coaches, and it will not be tolerated with a future client or boss. Taking these skills I have learned from my athletic experiences will help me succeed in the real world."
