"Being a student-athlete and Kent State is giving me the experience I need to succeed, whether it is learning to meet a deadline, performing to the best of my abilities or dealing with people. It feels great to know that I am part of a team and a community, and being a part of that has made me realize that in life I have to co-operate, encourage and help out those that will influence my life later on."
